Located on the coast, we are based in the old fisherman town of Ramsgate, Kent. Originally from Brighton in East Sussex, Fat Pigeon is recognized throughout the South of England and beyond for our modern artworks and dynamic art exhibitions, including those featuring LGBTQIA themed art.
Who is the artist behind Fat Pigeon Studio?
Fat Pigeon Studio was founded by Sid Spencer at the beginning of the Covid Lockdown in 2020. His goal was straightforward: to bring joy to his family and friends through social media with fun, colorful images. Little did he know that within a year, he would become a resident artist at The Brighton Box Gallery, where his contemporary artworks can still be purchased today. Sid also began fundraising for the local LGBTQIA community and The Sussex Beacon by collaborating with the city's drag community to create themed products like calendars, mugs, and shirts. Now based in Ramsgate, Kent, Sid continues to explore new mediums in his art and is excitedly preparing for his first in-person art exhibition.
